On Saturday, the UFC returns to FOX with a pivotal women’s bantamweight fight between Valentina Shevchenko and Julianna Pena at the Pepsi Center in Denver, Colorado.
Before a number one contender emerges in the women’s bantamweight division, the UFC provides a stacked undercard with many intriguing matchups.
The FOX Sports 1 prelims feature middleweight prospect Eric Spicely, who is coming off a win over Thiago Santos, as he fights Alessio Di Chirico.
Spicely went for a takedown early in the round, but Di Chirico managed to stay on his feet. After fighting up against the cage, Spicely went for a trip but Di Chirico ended up on top. Spicely then locked on a triangle choke and finished Di Chirico in the first round.
