17 More UFC Fighters Removed From Roster, 51 Today Total

The new owners of the Ultimate Fighting Championship continued what looks to be a mass exodus of the company’s roster on Friday evening. Earlier on in the same day, thirty-four fighters were removed from the official website which UFC Fighters Info took note of. Barring any glitches, this tends to mean that the fighter was removed from the roster because of a release or retirement.

Seventeen more names have appeared on UFC Fighters Info list, which leads one to believe that these fighters were either released or retired. Names like Dan Henderson are an obvious removal due to retirement while others, like Tatsuya Kawajiri, have already debuted in a new promotion. The new list of fighters removed from the roster are below:

John Howard, Tatsuya Kawajiri, Danny Martinez, Alan Omer, Matt Hobar, Milana Dudieva, Caio Magalhaes, Fabio Maldonado, Dan Henderson, Gabriel Gonzaga, Kyle Noke, Piotr Hallmann, Sarah Kaufman, Lucas Martins, Yves Jabouin, Vaughan Lee, Yaotzin Meza
