99%… Really? Is the UFC Selling Fights With Fake Stats?

On Saturday night in the main event of UFC 208, Holly Holm looks to become the fourth fighter to win a world title in two different weight classes when she fights Germaine de Randamie for the inaugural women’s featherweight champion.

But is the MMA giant overselling Holm?

Going to Holm’s profile at UFC.com, it doesn’t reveal that stat. Her stats say that out of 794 attempted strikes, Holm connected on 260 which is a 33% clip. Then in types of successful strikes, out of 273, Holm connected on 260 punches standing which is 88%.

Is the UFC lying in their stats? You be the judge.
