Derek Lewis Wants To Put His 6 Fight Win Streak Against Mark Hunt

UFC heavyweight Derrick Lewis put on an impressive show at last weekend’s UFC Fight Night 105 in Halifax.

“The Black Beast” came back from the second round to KO Travis Browne in the main event. Lewis now has the largest winning streak among active heavyweight fighters. Moving forward, “The Black Beast” wants Mark Hunt.

In an interview with UFC on Fox, Lewis displayed a faux-interim championship belt as he swiftly painted a target on Mark Hunt’s back.

“Because Mark Hunt is going to come out and fight. He’s just like me. He’s going to come out and fight and it ain’t going to be a boring fight. He isn’t going to try to hold you, or nothing like that. He’s going to come out swinging and banging, like I always do.” Lewis said in the interview with UFC on Fox.

With a six fight win streak under his belt, Lewis has plenty of opportunity as the No. 7 ranked heavyweight.
