Following Dispute Outside Family Gym, UFC Vet Jailed For Terroristic Threats To Penn’s

The Ultimate Fighter Season Six member Daniel Barrera has appeared in court to answer for a charge of first degree terroristic threatening. Barrera is dealing with this charge off of the back of a previous case.

Last Monday, the fighter was in court for allegedly assaulting a high schooler. The accusation was for alleged trespassing on high school property during a student wrestling practice and allegedly striking a wrestling student.

For his most recent case, the Hawaii Tribune Herald reported that Barrera was taken into custody by police after nurses claimed that the fighter made multiple threats during his stay at the Hawaii Community Correctional Center.

The nurse stated that Berrera said, “I was in the military and I killed guys, so I get no problem killing again.”

Berrera allegedly noted that he was going to “get B.J. Penn” and other members of the Penn family.

Berrera’s bail has been set to $50,000.

Berra is innocent until proven guilty.
