Top ranked UFC welterweight contender Jorge “Gamebred” Masvidal proved all the naysayers wrong this past Saturday night as he knocked out Donald Cerrone at UFC on Fox 23 in dominating fashion. Masvidal had been calling for a fight with Cerrone for quite sometime and made good on his opportunity, and he’s not done yet.
Immediately following his big win in Denver, Masvidal made sure to let Dana White and the rest of the welterweight division know that there’s a new top dog in town. In fact, “Gamebred” is still going verbally sparring with people on social media and is already looking for his next big payday.

Masvidal has put the 170-pound division on notice. UFC president Dana White stated earlier this week that potential matchups against former welterweight champion Robbie Lawler or top contender Demian Maia could occur for the native of Miami.
