Irish Media Reports McGregor And Mayweather Have Reached A Deal

Could the fight that not too longer seemed like nothing more than a joke now be reality?

According to a report in The Irish Sun, UFC lightweight champion Conor McGregor and boxing great, Floyd Mayweather have agreed to a boxing fight.

A source from McGregor’s gym, Straight Blast Gym tell the Sun, “Conor McGregor and Floyd Mayweather have agreed a deal to fight and have both settled on their respective fees.

“The contract hasn’t officially been signed yet because of a third party hold-up but all the details have all been agreed on.

“The fight could even be announced within two weeks.”

McGregor was scheduled to participate in another “Evening with Conor McGregor” on Friday in Dublin, Ireland but had to cancel due to having to be in Las Vegas for a matter he couldn’t get out of. The publication states it is due to the Irishman having to make an anti-bullying video as part of his punishment for the bottle-throwing incident he apart of with Nate Diaz before their fight at UFC 202 back in August and will also close out the details with team for the potential showdown.
