Masvidal Responsible For Most Injuries In The UFC?

UFC welterweight Jorge Masvidal has taken to Twitter to vent about his frustrations with snagging another bout in the division.

Masvidal most recent bout was in January at UFC on Fox 23, in which he achieved a TKo victory against Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone.

However, as far as his next bout is concerned, the fighter seems to not be able to catch a break.

In an interview with Flo Combat, Masvidal explained his frustrations.

“In this sport you would think dudes don’t get scared, but believe me when I say to anyone reading or listening, some of your favorite fighters are the ones turning down fights and doing it multiple times. I can’t get a fight and it sucks, man.”

One of Masvidal’s targets moving forward has been welterweight Neil Magny, who seems to be injured.

“Magny is one of the prime candidates who all of a sudden had a magical injury. Sean Shelby just told us that yesterday. He said [Demian] Maia isn’t budging and asked me if I wanted to wait for him to come around. I told him I’m healthy and wanted to keep fighting, so how about Neil Magny? I’ve been wanting to break his face for awhile, but he comes back and says Magny is injured and they don’t know when he’ll be ready.”

To much of his frsutration, the fighter took to Twitter with the above response.
