On Tuesday, Rogan posted a video of himself training on a punching bag on his Instagram. From the sounds of his hits, Rogan’s strikes appear to be lethal.

Rogan showed off his kickboxing skills on the heavy bag, showing combinations of punches and kicks.

Before his success as a comedian, actor, and television host, Rogan was an accomplished kickboxing and Brazilian jiu-jitsu practitioner. Rogan is also decorated in the sport of taekwondo.

This day also marks the 20th anniversary of Rogan’s debut in the UFC. On Feb. 7, 1997, Rogan made his debut as a backstage interviewer at UFC 12. Years later, Rogan became the official color commentator for the UFC.

Today, Rogan has become one of the most recognizable names and faces in the sport of MMA. His voice can be heard on almost every UFC pay-per-view event, and he has called many of the biggest moments in UFC history.
