Years Ago D.C. Beat Up A Bully … Today That Bully Tracked Him Down

In 2012, UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Daniel Cormier appeared on the MTV reality show Bully Beatdown.

On Saturday, at UFC 208, Cormier worked as a color commentator for the event. While doing his commentary duties, Cormier heard a man screaming his name claiming to be the bully he fought on the show.

On the reality show, real-life bullies would fight MMA fighters. If the bullies won or survived, they received money. If they lost, the bully’s victims received money. The bully Cormier fought, Tyler, was not able to win any money against the future world champion.

On Saturday, Cormier allowed the bully to come down and talk to him. On Wednesday, Cormier posted a photo to his Instagram with the bully.

At the time of the show, Cormier was just a heavyweight prospect who had just began competing for Strikeforce. Since then, Cormier has become one of the best pound-for-pound fighters in the world. He has an 18-1 record and has defeated some of the best heavyweights and light heavyweights in the history of the sport.

Cormier is scheduled to defend his title against Anthony Johnson at the KeyBank Center in Buffalo, New York at UFC 210.
