Dana White: ‘I Think Nate Is Holding Out For Conor McGregor’

Nate Diaz has not fought inside the octagon since his decision loss to Conor McGregor in the UFC 202 rematch last August. Since then, UFC President Dana White has revealed that, alongside his brother, Nate Diaz has been turning down fights.

In a recent interview with MMA Mania, the president added to his recent insight into the Diaz brothers and their fight schedules.

“I have no idea. Maybe he is holding out for McGregor,” White said. “Conor has endless possibilities for fight.”

Lightweight champion Conor McGregor is currently trying to pull together a massive payday event with a cross-promotional bout against boxing legend Floyd Mayweather Jr.

Beyond Mayweather, McGregor still has a UFC belt to defend, leaving top contenders Tony Ferguson and Khabib Nurmagomedov on his list.

For a decisive rematch with “Notorious,” Nate Diaz may have to wait a while longer.
