Former ONE strawweight champion Dejdamrong Sor Amnuaysirichoke lost his championship title to Yoshitaka Naito last May. Unfortunately for “Kru Rong”, his tribulations only began in the ring.

In a ONE Championship promotional video, which chronicles the fighter’s experience, the former champion discussed the deeper sadness of last May’s ONE Championship 43 main event.

“Also, the day of the fight was the same day that my grandmother who raised me when I was a kid passed away.” Amnuaysirichoke said.

Amnuaysirichoke is now returning to Thailand, for his first bout since his grandmother’s passing.

Dejdamrong Sor Amnuaysirichoke is set to face Joshua Pacio at ONE Championship: Warrior Kingdom on March 11 inside the Bangkok Impact Arena.
