Tragedy struck the professional wrestling and mixed martial arts communities as the wife of broadcast journalist Jim Ross, Jan Ross, has passed away due to complications from a car accident. She was just fifty-five years old.

Ross’ wife was placed in critical condition earlier this week when she had been involved in a car accident while riding her Vespa. She was in critical condition after the crash and after intensive emergency surgery, doctors were not able to save Jan. Police in Norman, Oklahoma are still investigating the accident.
Professional wrestling is a bizarre job where your friends and family are the ones on the road with you. As a result of this, relationships aren’t really built to last in the industry.
