Longtime UFC matchmaker Joe Silva was among the many to be released from the UFC following the promotion’s sale to WME-ING last year. Tonight’s UFC Fight Night: London marks the final professional gesture from the matchmaking veteran.
UFC commentator Jon Anik has reported to Twitter that tonight’s UFC Fight Night holds Joe Silva’s final booked fight with the UFC.
Anik said, “A bit of history tonight…the final fights made by outgoing matchmaker Joe Silva. Joe Duffy-Reza Madadi will be last Silva-made fight.”
Lightweights Joe Duffy and Reza Madadi are set to face off at tonight’s UFC Fight Night: London in the O2 Arena.
