Tonight featured the Ultimate Fighting Championship’s latest event, as UFC on FOX 24 went down in Kansas City, Missouri inside the Sprint Center. In the main event, flyweight champion Demetrious “Mighty Mouse” Johnson made another successful title defense. This time, the champion took out Wilson Reis.

Another bout that got the Sprint Center crowd off their feet was that of strawweight contenders Rose “Thug” Namajunas and Michelle “Karate Hottie” Waterson. Namajunas landed a second round submission victory over her opponent, bringing the contender another step closer to title contention.

In her post-fight interview, Namajunas broke down the bout and her dominant performance. After giving props to her opponent and explaining how tough she finds Michelle Waterson, Namajunas explained “I feel like I can go all the way to the belt and hold it for a while.”
