It would appear that Chris Weidman is following through with his initial claims that he will appeal his loss against Gegard Mousasi.
Former UFC middleweight champion Chris Weimam was looking to pull himself from a two fight losing streak at last weekend’s UFC 210 co-main event. For the event, Weidman faced Gegard Mousasi in what would ultimately be a bitter and controversial defeat for the former champion.
As reported by News Day, Audie A. Attar, manager to Weidman, has stated that the appeal will be filed today.
Weidman’s loss at UFC 210 as put the former champion on a three fight losing streak.
