Dana White Shuts Down “Mighty Mouse” vs. Garbrandt Fight

The Ultimate Fighting Championship held another event last night, with UFC on FOX 24 going down inside the Sprint Center in Kansas City, Missouri. In the main event, flyweight champion Demetrious Johnson defended his belt from challenger Wilson Reis.

Demetrious “Mighty Mouse” Johnson made for his tenth consecutive title defense at UFC on FOX 24. The feat had tied “Mighty Mouse” with Anderson Silva for the record of most consecutive title defenses.

Now, with conversations of G.O.A.T status floating around the flyweight champion, talks of Demetrious Johnson matching up for a super fight have begun to muster. One of the more recent discussions has been a spuper fight between “Mighty Mouse” and bantamweight champion Cody Garbrandt.

Journalist Damon Martin has gone to Twitter to report that the UFC President has shot down such conversations, for now. “Dana White shoots down Mighty Mouse vs. Cody Garbrandt until Cody gets more title defenses to make it a real super fight.” Martin said.
