Ultimate Fighting Championship will be making their way into the Bridgestone Arena this weekend in Nashville, Tennessee for “UFC Fight Night 108”. Artem Lobov will be entering the main event picture for the first time in his career when he battles Cub Swanson for featherweight supremacy.

In the co-main event of the evening, “Lionheart” Diego Sanchez will be making his return to the octagon for the first time since his victory over Marcin Held in 2016. His opponent will be a returning Al Iaquinta and the two will throw down in a lightweight contest.

Sanchez recently suffered a health scare during a training session at Jackson MMA and dove into the topic on a recent edition of MMA Hour:

“I hit the ground, and I felt something inside my heart. It wasn’t, like, a muscular injury. It was something internal. … I just laid down and said, ‘I’m done for the week.’ The moment I laid down at the back of [tha[that gym]instantly knew it was because of that medical marijuana.”

“My lungs were being affected. And I still had the mentality to train like a warrior, so when [the[the heart issue]pened to me, that day at the gym, I was still experimenting with medical marijuana. … I did it, and I loved it, and I got my medicinal medicine. … I’m not judging. I’m saying that medical marijuana’s not for everybody, and it’s not for me.”
