Girl Fight! Angela Magana Challenges Curran To Loser Leaves The UFC Fight

The worlds of mixed martial arts and professional wrestling should never mix, however the idea of a “Loser Leaves Town” match inside the octagon just sounds fitting. That’s why when Ultimate Fighting Championship strawweight Angela Magana issued a challenge to Kailin Curran that would see the loser leave the UFC, it piqued our interest.

Magana has been away from the octagon for quite some time, with her last appearance being a loss against Michelle Waterson in 2015. Since then, Magana has been training and working toward improving her game and she feels that a “do or die” bout with Kailin Curran, who is 1-4 inside the UFC, would be an interesting fight.

Magana has essentially faced a who’s who in the women’s strawweight division including a killer at bantamweight in Jessica Eye. Stephanie Eggink, Tecia Torres, and Michelle Waterson have all gotten the best of Magana and Magana is hoping to turn things around with a big fight against Curran.

Curran was the first fighter to welcome Paige VanZant into the octagon back in November of 2014 and even though she did not walk out of the fight with her hands raised, she was given a massive rub due to the fact that her fight won “Fight of the Night” honors. She has since gone on to lose to Alex Chambers, Felice Herrig, and Jamie Moyle in her last few fights.
