“Rumble” Johnson Details MASSIVE 60-Pound Weight Cut

Anthony “Rumble” Johnson is getting his second chance to capture Ultimate Fighting Championship gold this Saturday at “UFC 210”. He will be challenging Daniel Cormier for his UFC Light Heavyweight Championship in the main event in Buffalo, New York hoping for a different result from when the first time the two heavy-hitters collided.

Johnson hasn’t always been the powerful force he is in the light heavyweight division, now. Just years ago he was cutting nearly sixty pounds leading up to his fights as a middleweight in the UFC where he was facing the likes of Dan Hardy. “Rumble” opened up on the rough weight cut in a recent Q&A session [via. MMA Mania], telling his fans:

“When I was fighting at welterweight, I used to walk around at 210. When I fought Dan Hardy, I just came off knee surgery and I was up to 230. I dropped down from 230 to 170 in two months.”
