The Ultimate Fighting Championship held its most recent event last weekend. UFC Fight Night 108 went down on Saturday inside the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee. In the main event, featherweight Cub Swanson faced off against Artem Lobov.
In a brutal middleweight contention, Sam “Smile’N” Alvey took on Thales Leites. While the fight went the distance, it ultimately did not go in Sam “Smile’N” Alvey’s favor. Alvey lost to Leites by way of unanimous decision.
In the fight, Thales Leites dished out some terrifying leg kicks to Sam Alvey. Alvey took each shot with distinction, but ultimately could not impress the judges with his performance.
After the bout, “Smile’N” Alvey offered a picture of his damaged leg to champions.co. In the image below, the fighter’s leg can be seen heavily bruised and beaten from his opponent’s strikes.
