UFC Replay: Watch “Mighty Mouse” Force Reis Into Submission

Demetrious “Mighty Mouse” Johnson stepped into the octagon at “UFC on FOX 24” knowing that if he were to walk out with his hands raised in victory, he would have tied Anderson Silva’s record of ten title defenses at the expense of Wilson Reis.

Reis truly did everything he could to overcome the attack of Johnson, but the champion was simply too much from the challenger. As soon as the opening round was in the books it became apparent that something would have to drastically change in Reis’ attack in order for him to win, as he was outstruck by Johnson nearly five to one.

Reis started to get battered, bloodied, and bruised by the time the second round had come to an end. It didn’t matter if he was standing or on his back; Johnson was relentless in his attack and pushed a pace that Reis could not match at all.

Johnson took Reis down to the mat with ease in the final round of their fight and transitioned at will until he was finally able to grab a hold of Reis’ arm. Reis tried his hardest to fight the armbar attempt off, but Johnson made sure to walk away with the finish and the victory. Check out the replay below:
