Former Bellator Lightweight Champion Will Brooks and Charles Oliveira kicked things off for the pay-per-view portion of “UFC 210” with their lightweight contest. Brooks was heavily favored walking into this fight, likely due to the fact that Oliveira is on a two-fight losing streak.

With a touch of the gloves, Oliveira was the first to land a flush shot in the form of a kick to the body of Brooks. Brooks fired back with some of his own before getting tied up and taken down by Oliveira. In Brooks’ guard, Oliveira made his way to side control with ease before getting pushed back to half-guard. Brooks made his way back to his feet only to get taken right back down to the mat.
Oliveira took the back of Brooks before locking on the rear naked choke attempt while acting as Brooks’ backpack. Oliveira forced him into submission less than three minutes into the contest.
