While the sport of mixed martial arts or that of boxing and kickboxing may each have a firm foundation of knockout performances, none are quite as unorthodox as that of hockey.
Fights on the ice are not all that uncommon, but knockout strikes are a little different. None the less, in the clip below, a hockey player can be seen dealing a felling blow to his opponent.
The player was having a heated discussion with a referee, when one of his opponents was gliding by him. Without turning his head to look at his opponent, the hockey player launched a jabbing strike into the face of his opponent.
Unfortunately for his opponent, the man glided directly into the jab and was immediately driven to the ground by the strike. A clip of the moment can be viewed below.
