ONE welterweight champion Ben “Funky” Askren is set to defend his title from Agilan Thani. The two mixed martial artists will meet inside the cage at ONE: Dynasty of Heroes on May 26 inside the Singapore Indoor Stadium.
Ben “Funky” Askren and Agilan Thani are both undefeated in their fighting careers. Askren holds a record of 15-0, while Thani has a record of 7-0 as a mixed martial artist. In a recent interview with ONE Championship, Ben Askren revealed that he will retire if Thani manages to submit him from the ground.
“If he takes me down and submits me, I will retire.” Askren said.
