Dana White Reveals Future Plans For Joanna, Eyes Second World Title

UFC 211 took place over the weekend. The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) held the event in Dallas, Texas on Saturday inside the American Airline Center. While the event hosted a few great fights, the co-main event had many spectators on their feet.

In the co-main event, UFC strawweight champion Joanna Jedrzejczyk faced off against rising challenger Jessica Andrade. The mixed martial arts title fight ultimately went the distance. Joanna Jedrzejczyk earned a unanimous decision victory over her opponent.

In the post-fight press conference for the event, UFC President Dana White revealed his believed plans for the champion following her recent victory. In the press conference, the UFC president admitted that Jedrzejczyk may be heading to a new division soon.

Dana White admitted that he believes the champion will attempt a move to the 125 pound division after breaking Ronda Rousey’s record for most title fight victories among female UFC competitors. Jedrzejczyk tied Rousey’s record with her victory over Jessica Andrade at UFC 211.
