Diaz Brother’s Manager Explains Their Strategy Of Turning Down Fights Non-Stop

Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) competitors Nate and Nick Diaz have been spending some time away from the mixed martial arts promotion as of late. Nate Diaz was most recently in the octagon at UFC 202 last August. Nick Diaz appeared at UFC 183 in 2015.

On The MMA Hour, Nate Diaz revealed that he is considering taking the rest of 2017 away from the mixed martial arts promotion. The fighter was offered a bout with Tony Ferguson. While Nate Diaz initially accepted the fight, the fighter believed that the UFC did not meet his demands.

Now, the manager of the two mixed martial arts veterans has come forward with his thoughts on the matter. In the post below, he can be seen explaining why neither mixed martial artists has competed as of late.

“If you’re a real fan of the Diaz bros you don’t only want them to fight but to succeed. Timing and strategy is everything in this sport. If you don’t believe me ask 95% of the promotion who are getting completely (expletive). Patience is a virtue. Don’t keep telling them to fight, listen to what they are saying, take a look at the UFC and get behind them for what they are doing for themselves and the sport.”
