Frankie Edgar No Longer Trusts Workout Supplements, Launches His Own USADA Safe Brand

Former UFC lightweight champion Frankie Edgar is apparently growing quite weary of not knowing what exactly he is consuming with supplements. Thinking that he is likely not the only one who thinks this way, the former champion has decided to launch his own line of supplements.

Former lightweight champion Frankie Edgar is launching a new website this summer, titled Iron Army, to aid in his new venture. The fighter is looking to create a safer, more trustworthy product for his fans and fellow fighters alike.

The former champion released a statement concerning the decision to Facebook. With or without his new supplement brand, Frankie Edgar is set to face Yair Rodriguez at UFC 211 on May 13 inside the American Airlines Arena in Dallas, Texas.

“I’m launching a supplement brand this summer because it’s gotten to the point where I need to know exactly what I’m putting in my body. There’s not a lot of trustworthy brands out there so I commissioned the best formulator and marketing team to build products I can truly stand behind for REAL ATHLETES like you and me.
