“I Still Think Ronda Rousey Would Beat Floyd Mayweather” – Matt Serra

Former UFC Welterweight Champion Matt Serra believes former UFC Women’s Bantamweight Champion Ronda Rousey would defeat Floyd “Money” Mayweather in a fight.

Serra made his comments about Rousey beating Mayweather on a recent edition of the UFC Unfiltered podcast.

“I still think Ronda Rousey would kick his (Mayweather) (expletive) in a real fight,” Serra said. “I’m talking about in a real situation.”

Serra agreed that Rousey could not beat Mayweather in the striking department. However, if Rousey got her hands on Mayweather, she would be able to defeat him with her judo and grappling skills.

Rousey’s future in the world of MMA is uncertain at this time. She has lost her last two fights in the UFC and has not said whether or not she will come back. In December, she lost to UFC Women’s Bantamweight Champion Amanda Nunes. In 2015, she lost her title to Holly Holm.

Mayweather is currently retired from the sport of boxing. However, he is expected to come out of retirement to fight UFC Lightweight Champion Conor McGregor in a boxing match sometime in the near future.
