Keri-Anne Melendez Set To Compete At Bellator 180

Keri-Anne Melendez, the wife of UFC fighter Gilbert Melendez, is scheduled to compete at Bellator 180.

Melendez, who is an accomplished kickboxer, will compete in her second MMA bout when she fights Sadee Monseratte Williams on June 24.

Melendez made her MMA debut last November at Bellator 165. She took just 47 seconds to knockout Sheila Padilla in a strawweight fight.

Williams has yet to win in her MMA career and holds a record of 0-1.

Melendez fight will air live on Spike TV. Bellator 180 is headlined by Bellator Light Heavyweight Champion Phil Davis defending his title against Ryan Bader.

Bellator 180 will be the lead-in for Bellator: NYC which will air live on pay-per-view. The pay-per-view will feature Chael Sonnen vs. Wanderlei Silva, Fedor Emelianenko vs. Matt Mitrione, Bellator Lightweight Champion Michael Chandler vs. Brent Primus, Bellator Welterweight Champion Douglas Lima vs. Lorenz Larkin, and the MMA debut of Aaron Pico.

Bellator 180 will take place at Madison Square Garden in New York City. This will be Bellator’s first event at the historic venue.
