Former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) light heavyweight champion Jon “Bones Jones and reigning champion Daniel Cormier have cultivated quite the feud. The two fighters have already met in the octagon, but the bad blood has only boiled since then.

Jon “Bones” Jones stands as the only loss on Daniel Cormier’s record. The two mixed martial artist met in the octagon at UFC 182. The epic performance ultimately went the distance. In the end, Jon Jones scored a unanimous decision victory over his opponent.

In the bout, Jon Jones scored a takedown on the now reigning champion. Near the very end of the round, “Bones” Jones locked up with the fellow esteemed wrestler in the clinch. With a right underhook, Jones managed to hip toss his opponent into the mat.

With Jon Jones coming off of his year long suspension in July, anticipation on seeing these two mixed martial arts warriors enter the octagon is steadily building. While an official announcement for the two fighters meeting in the octagon has not yet been made, many believe it is only a matter of time.
