Rogan: ‘Big Giant Drunk Bully Was Picking Fights With UFC’s Best’

During a recent episode of his podcast, Joe Rogan told a story about a drunk man who tried to start a fight with him and his MMA friends.

While talking to comedian Al Madrigal, the UFC commentator and comedian told the story of when a large drunk man tried to pick a fight with Rogan, BJJ Blackbelt Eddie Bravo, and MMA fighter Tait Fletcher.

“That guy ended up being put to sleep. Tait choked him unconscious. But Tait was nice to him, he could have taken his life,” Rogan said.

“That guy was a real piece of (expletive). He was a real giant dude. He was 6’6 and he was a bully. He thought because he was so tall people were scared of him, but he (expletive) the wrong guy in Tait.”

According to Rogan, the fight started when the large man began banging on Fletcher’s hotel door claiming Fletcher was in his room. Fletcher proved to the man it was his room and shut the door. The man then started yelling through the door calling the professional fighter obscenities leading to an altercation.

Fletcher then proceeded to kick the man in his leg, pull him into his guard, got him in an Omoplata, then proceeded to put him to sleep.
