UFC 211 went down on May 13 inside the American Airlines Arena in Dallas, Texas. In the night’s main event, the UFC’s heavyweight champion added another victory to his record. However, the champion has kept himself humble through his UFC success.

In the night’s main event, UFC heavyweight champion Stipe Miocic faced off against former champion Junior Dos Santos. The UFC heavyweight champion defeated his opponent in the very first round. Miocic scored a TKO victory over Junior Dos Santos.

Now, in a recent interview on “The Jim Rome Show,” Miocic explained that the people he surrounds himself with help keep him humble. “I have good people around me. My wife is amazing, my family, my friends, my teammates, my co-workers at the fire station, they keep me grounded, and I love where I’m at and the people that support me,” Miocic said.

“I usually walk in, they say congratulations, and they’ll hand me a scrubber and say get to the toilets or something like that. They really don’t care,” he explained.
