Top Contender Accepts Fight With Masvidal After Being Called Out

After losing a split-decision at UFC 211, Jorge Masvidal is looking for a fight.

The welterweight contender has been calling out some of the best fighters in his division following his disappointing loss.

One of the first fighters Masvidal called out was fellow contender Neil Magny. However, Masvidal doesn’t believe that fight will happen.

“Just got word (Neil Magny) is suffering from vaginitis,” Masvidal tweeted.

Masvidal then called out former two-time title challenger Stephen Thompson, who later accepted his challenge.

“I’ll light his (expletive) up,” Masvidal tweeted in regards to a fight with Thompson.

“Hey man would love to fight you after I heal up from knee surgery my friend,” Thompson responded to Masvidal’s callout.

Thompson is currently coming off two close decisions against UFC Welterweight Champion Tyron Woodley. In November, Thompson fought Woodley to a draw at UFC 205. In March, at UFC 209, Thompson lost a majority decision to the champion.
