UFC 211: Jason Knight Is A Madman, Dominates Skelly Everywhere Before KO Finish!

On Saturday, the UFC hosted one of its biggest events of the year as UFC 211 took place at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas.

Two titles are set to be defended in the lone star state as UFC Heavyweight Champion Stipe Miocic fights former champion Junior dos Santos and UFC Women’s Strawweight Champion Joanna Jedrzejczyk fights Jessica Andrade.

Before the titles are defended, UFC 211 features a stacked undercard full of intriguing matches.

Featherweight prospects fought on the FX prelims as Chas Skelly fought Jason Knight.

Knight wasted little time to start throwing bombs towards Skelly. After landing a couple good shots of his own, Skelly got his opponent to the ground. Knight went for submissions from the bottom which forced Skelly to stand up. Knight eventually got into dominant position and continued going for submissions. Both fighters changed dominant position. Regardless of the position, Knight continued going for submissions. At the end of the round, Knight got to his feet and allowed his opponent to stand up as well. The round ended with Knight landing a takedown.

Both fighters were more hesitant to start the second round. Knight eventually knocked Skelly down but allowed him to stand back up. Knight continued to land clean strikes, while Skelly landed some shots of his own. Skelly attempted to take Knight down throughout the round but struggled to get him off his feet. Eventually, Skelly landed a takedown of his own. On the ground, Knight maintained the dominant position. The round ended with Skelly getting back to his feet and both fighters wildly throwing punches.

Both fighters embraced each other with a hug to start the final round. Knight quickly knocked Skelly down with a punch and finished the fight by TKO.
