Yoel Romero Announces That He’s Moved On From Bisping…. Ready To Be The People’s Champ

The Ultimate Fighting Championship has been going through a little turmoil with its middleweight division as of late. The middleweight champion was set to defend his title, but the fight has since been called off. Now, it would appear that the champion’s next expected bout will not be going through either.

UFC middleweight champion  Michael “The Count” Bisping was initially set to face off against Georges St-Pierre. However, St-Pierre revealed that he cannot compete until later this year. As a result, the UFC president has since pulled the expected title fight.

Instead, UFC President Dana White announced that a title fight would be formed between “The Count” and No. 1 middleweight contender Yoel Romero. Following the announcement, Michael Bisping revealed that he is in no shape to train. The champion claimed that he is too injured to compete in the near future.

Now, Yoel Romero has gone to Twitter to give his thoughts on the matter. The No. 1 division contender claims he is done looking for a fight with Bisping. “The page on @bisping has been turned. My focus now is on who’s next? I will be your champion @ufc I will be your #soldier #ynuevo @dioxyme,” he said.
