BREAKING: UFC Vet Takes Boxing Match, Gets KO’d And Put In ICU With “Serious Brain Injury”

It would appear that one of mixed martial arts’ veterans has suffered a serious injury after facing off in a boxing match last night.

Former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) competitor and MMA veteran Tim Hague faced off against Adam Braidwood last night in a boxing event. Tim Hague suffered a knockout loss to his opponent, which seems to have created some serious damage to the fighter.

Sportsnet’s James Lynch reported over Twitter, “Prayers are w/ Canadian UFC vet Tim Hague who suffered serious brain injury last night in a boxing match w/ Adam Braidwood. Currently in ICU.”

This new brain injury comes on the heels of a very tragic incident involving UFC hall-of-famer Matt Hughes. Let’s hope this is the last of them.

Social media tells the story:

Huge ko win for @braidwoodboxing over @tim_hague . Hope for a good recovery Tim. So proud of you Adam #koboxing
