Fake! Team Mayweather Believes Conor’s Sparring Footage Is Fake And Staged


Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) lightweight champion Conor “Notorious” McGregor is gearing up to face off against undefeated boxing phenom Floyd Mayweather Jr. inside a boxing ring. The UFC lightweight champion has the potential to make the payday of his career with the bout. Now, both fighters have signed their ends of the contract. The fight is set for Aug. 26 inside the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Boxing champion Chris van Heerden recently leaked footage of Conor McGregor sparring in training for the event. The video has garnered some serious attention from fighters and fans alike. Now boxing coach to Floyd Mayweather Jr., Nate Jones has come forward with his thoughts on the footage.

In an interview with Submission Radio, Nate Jones explains that the Mayweather camp is being cautious in their training, concerning the footage. Nate Jones believes the footage may have been staged. “It could have been some real work and it could have been staged. I don’t know.” Jones stated.
