Fighter Removed from Tonight’s UFC Fight Night

The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is gearing up for its next big event. UFC Fight Night 110 goes down tonight inside of the Vector Arena in Auckland, New Zealand. While the mixed martial arts promotion’s main event is still set to take place, it would appear that the UFC is losing one of the night’s match ups.

In the night’s main event, UFC heavyweights Derrick “The Black Beast” Lewis and Mark “The Super Samoan” Hunt will be facing off for division dominance. However, one of the night’s lightweight bouts has now been cancelled.

UFC lightweight Thibault Gouti was initially set to face off against Dong Hyun Kim in tonight’s event. However, UFC officials have come forward with an announcement of the preliminary card opener’s cancellation.

“On the advice of physicians, and with the athlete’s health and safety in mind, UFC has removed Thibault Gouti from his bout today against Dong Hyun Kim at UFC Fight Night: Lewis vs. Hunt in Auckland, New Zealand due to illness.

UFC Fight Night: Lewis vs. Hunt will proceed with 11 bouts.” Officials stated.
