Following Knocking Him Out, Mitrione Rushed Fedor Emelianenko … For An Autograph

On Saturday, heavyweight contender Matt Mitrione earned the biggest win of his MMA career when he knocked out MMA icon Fedor Emelianenko.

At Bellator: NYC, at Madison Square Garden in New York City, Mitrione and Emelianenko fought in one of the craziest fights in Bellator history.

In the first round of their fight, both Mitrione and Emelianenko threw a punch that knocked their opponent down at the same time. Mitrione was the first to recover and was able to swarm the MMA legend with punches from the top which resulted in him earning the victory.

Mitrione was humble after earning the biggest win of his career. After the fight, he went into Emelianenko’s locker room and requested an autograph from the legend himself.

“Guys, do I have any chance that Fedor will leave an autograph?” Mitrione said according to one of the people accompanying Emelianenko.

Emelianenko then took the time to meet with Mitrione and provided him with an autograph.
