Former UFC Heavyweight Brendan Schaub Signs Up For Bellator Duty In New York

Former UFC Heavyweight Brendan Schaub will now be a part of Bellator MMA.

Schaub has signed a deal to do commentary for Bellator 180 on Spike TV on June 24.

Bellator MMA announced Schaub joining the promotion in a press release on Wednesday.

Since retiring from the sport of MMA, Schaub has become a star in the world of podcasts. He hosts his own show Big Brown Breakdown and co-hosts the Fighter and the Kid podcast with comedian Bryan Callen. He is also a frequent guest on Joe Rogan’s podcast, The Joe Rogan Experience, as well.

Bellator 180 will be headlined by Bellator Light Heavyweight Champion Phil Davis defending his title against Ryan Bader. Bellator 180 will be the lead-in for Bellator: NYC, which will air on pay-per-view. Bellator: NYC is headlined by Chael Sonnen fighting Wanderlei Silva and Fedor Emelianenko fighting Matt Mitrione.
