Russia’s Top Fighter Fedor Emelianenko Personally Invites President Trump To Bellator NYC

As if tensions in the U.S., over President Trump’s involvement with Russia weren’t high enough, Russia’s most famous athlete Fedor Emelianenko (Who happens to be personal friends with Vladimir Putin) just invited Donald trump to his next fight.

The two share a personal connection, as MMA fans are quick to point out, as Donald Trump did once promote the Russian fighter under the Affliction banner. MMA fans have long since tied the President to Russia due to this relationship’s implications, and under today’s political landscape.

Making his pre-fight media rounds, Fedor stopped by The MMA Hour today and host Ariel Helwani asked Fedor Emelianenko if he’d talked to Donald Trump about coming to the Bellator PPV at Madison Square Garden. Helwani also asked if he’d like to invite him to the fight.

Fedor then stated,

“I will be very happy if the President of the United States, Mr. Donald Trump, will come to our fight and support us, me and Matt.”

Fedor main event’s this weekend’s Bellator card opposite Matt Mitrione.
