UFC 212 Reebok Pay Report: Headliners Hit Jackpot

The two headliners for UFC 212 were by far the highest paid fighters of the night when it came to Reebok sponsorship money.

At UFC 212, on Saturday, Max Holloway defeated Jose Aldo by TKO in the third round to become the UFC featherweight champion.

Both featherweight fighters earned $40,000 from Reebok for their main event fight.

The co-main event fighters did not earn nearly as much as the headliners. In the co-main event, Claudia Gadelha submitted Karolina Kowalkiewicz with a rear-naked choke in the first round. Gadelha earned $5,000 from Reebok, while Kowalkiewicz only earned $2,500.

The second highest paid fighters on the card were UFC veterans Vitor Belfort and Nate Marquardt. The two veterans fought in a back-and-forth contest that saw Belfort leave with a decision victory. In the end, both fighters received $20,000 from the clothing company.
