The main event of Sunday’s UFC Fight Night event ended in controversy.
In Oklahoma City, Michael Chiesa fought Kevin Lee in a pivotal fight in the lightweight division.
In the first round, Lee managed to secure Chiesa’s back and later locked in a rear-naked choke. Before Chiesa submitted, referee Mario Yamasaki stepped in and stopped the fight. Thus, awarding Lee with a submission victory.
Many fighters watching the action on Sunday were upset about what had taken place in the main event, and they were not shy about sharing their thoughts on Twitter.
