Shockingly, UFC officials thought it wise to announce that they had stripped a championship fighter from their world title, though twitter.

An odd move by the UFC to make such an announcement so public. This is why once cooler heads prevailed that the UFC deleted said tweet, as if it never happened.

It did happen though, and the internet never forgets. Their stripping of the champ is also deemed accurate.

Well, as expected, the UFC has stripped Germaine de Randamie of the belt she just won against Holly Holm.

UFC officials took to twitter with the news, then quickly deleted the post. However, not before the internet grabbed it for permanent records.

This announcement is accurate though, as Cris Cyborg will indeed fight Anderson for the belt once held by GDR.
