Cormier will defend his championship against Jones in the main event of UFC 214, which takes place July 29 at the Honda Center in Anaheim, California.

Cormier will be making his third title defense on Saturday. He has successfully defended his title against Alexander Gustafsson and Anthony Johnson.

Jones has not fought in over a year. His last fight took place in April 2016 when he defeated Ovince Saint Preux. After testing positive for banned substances last July, Jones has been suspended from the sport for the past year.
