Breaking: Conor McGregor Reportedly Knocked Out in Boxing Practice

Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) lightweight champion Conor McGregor is put the final touches on his training for his incipient match up. This time, the mixed martial artist is stepping inside a boxing ring to face boxing legend Floyd Mayweather Jr. However, a new rumor suggests the fighter may have recently suffered a knockout in practice.

Conor McGregor is set to face Floyd Mayweather Jr. inside the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada on Aug. 26. With the fight just a month away, both fighters are working hard to finish their training.

Professional boxer Jessie Vargas was recently interviewed by Villainfy Media. In the interview, the boxer revealed that he believes Conor McGregor was knocked out during practice.

“He got knocked out in sparring already.” Vargas stated, before later adding “The boxing world is small. It’s a small circle.”

Vargas later joked that Brandon Rios was brought in to spar with the UFC champion, perhaps knocking out the fighter. However, Vargas later revealed that the boxer was not involved.

It has not yet been confirmed that Conor McGregor has been knocked out by a sparring partner, but Jessie Vargas appears adamant that the fighter may have been KO’d during practice.
