Floyd Clears The Air On What He’ll Do If Conor Throws MMA Moves In Their Fight

Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) lightweight champion and MMA superstar Conor “Notorious” McGregor is set to face off with Floyd Mayweather Jr. The fighter recently revealed that he may use his mixed martial arts background inside the boxing ring, if he feels disrespected. Now Floyd Mayweather has come forward with his thoughts on the matter.

In a recent media scrum, Floyd Mayweather Jr. was asked what he would do if Conor McGregor attempted an elbow or kick during their fight. The boxer responded, “Let the referee do his job. I’m pretty sure the referee will be extremely firm, but fair.”

Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Conor McGregor will throw down on Aug. 26 inside the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
