Floyd Gets Shutdown By the Toronto Crowd

UFC Lightweight Champion Conor McGregor was clearly the fan favorite during Wednesday’s press conference.

In Toronto, McGregor and Floyd “Money” Mayweather held their second of four consecutive press conferences this week.

When McGregor made his way to the stage, he was met with loud cheers from the thousands of people who stood in the rain to catch a glimpse of the UFC champion.

When Mayweather made his way to the stage, the crowd booed and treated him like a villain.

When it came time for the fighters to speak, McGregor led the entire crowd in a chant of, “(Expletive) the Mayweathers!”

When Mayweather got the microphone, the Toronto crowd chanted, “Pay your taxes!”

In the video above, you can listen to the Toronto crowd show their disdain for the boxing legend.

McGregor will make his professional boxing debut and fight Mayweather on Aug. 26 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
