Mayweather Teammate Talks Nate Diaz Walking Out Floyd

One of Floyd “Money” Mayweather’s teammates says he’s going to try and get Nate Diaz to accompany him in his next fight.

Next month, Mayweather is coming out of retirement to fight UFC Lightweight Champion Conor McGregor in a boxing match.

Diaz is the only fighter to defeat McGregor in the UFC. In 2016, Diaz pulled off an upset when he submitted McGregor with a rear-naked choke.

While talking to TMZ Sports, one of Mayweather’s teammates says he’s from Stockton, California, just like Diaz, and will make a call to Diaz to try to get him in Mayweather’s corner.

McGregor will be making his professional boxing debut when he steps into the ring with Mayweather.

Despite not having any professional boxing experience, McGregor is one of the best MMA fighters in the world. His knockout power has helped win him two UFC championship.

After being retired for two years, Mayweather will fight McGregor on Aug. 26 in Las Vegas.
